Alpha Tau Omega

The 2009 Faculty of the Year Award was given to Senior Vice Provost, Santa Ono for his great dedication and lasting impact on brothers past and present.  Dr. Ono serves as Alpha Theta's faculty advisor, and was recently named an honorary initiate of ATO.

In recognition of Mr. Dobbs, the R. Howard Dobbs Jr. Foundation agreed
to provide a $150,000 challenge grant to establish the Alpha Tau Omega
Leadership Development Fund at Emory University.

With funds raised from brothers, alumni, and supporters, ATO must match
this grant, bringing the total to $300,000 by 2011.

This would translate to anticipated funds of $15,000 per year, or $7,500 per
semester, allowing for fifteen $500 grants per semester for qualified ATO
brothers, covering half of the current members who are on financial aid to
cover member expenses.
